Patched Up!: RSFH In The Community
RSFH pitches in on Day of Caring, hosts Pregnancy Celebration.
RSFH was out and about in the community recently, with hundreds of staff members participating in Trident United Way's Day of Caring and Mount Pleasant Hospital hosting the 17th annual Pregnancy Celebration. See photos of it all here.
Day of Caring
MEALS ON WHEELS
About 90 RSFH employees formed crews and braved the heat while tackling 13 major projects for East Cooper Meals on Wheels recipients. Whether it was painting porches, sawing limbs or raking leaves, the teams spruced up yards and houses with Compassion, Faith and Excellence.

HALOS BAGS
RSFH staff filled and decorated about 1,000 HALOS bags for children who have been removed from their family or home due to neglect and abuse. The personalized canvas tote bags were filled with necessities, toys and learning items for DSS to provide to the children during a difficult transition period.

BERKELEY CITIZENS
About 20 RSFH staff members in Berkeley County painted three houses in partnership with Berkeley Citizens, a non-profit that provides individuals with lifelong developmental disabilities the opportunity to develop and maintain productive, self-fulfilling lifestyles.
PREGNANCY CELEBRATION
The 17th annual Pregnancy Celebration at Roper St. Francis Mt. Pleasant Hospital was a success with 280 participants in attendance! Moms-to-be perused pregnancy exhibits, were able to tour the all-new MPH birthing suites and received fabulous door prizes from vendors.
