Burglar Busts Down Wrong Door, Apologizes, Runs

A resident of the S&K Apartments getting dressed for work Tuesday morning near 5:30, contacted police when she heard loud pounding on a neighbors door and what sounded like a crash, followed by two people yelling.

When police arrived to investigate the apartment where the noise came from, the door was reportedly ajar and the door frame was bent.

According to the resident of the apartment, she was sleeping in the bedroom when she heard a loud pounding on her door. As she walked down the hallway, she found that an unknown man had kicked in the door and was standing in her living room.

The man began yelled, "Where's Anthony! Where's Anthony!" He did this several times before the woman's boyfriend came out of the bedroom and told the suspect no Anthony lived there, before pushing the suspect out of the house.

The unknown man fled, but not before saying, "Sorry, my bad. I'll pay for the damages." Police noted that there was a little blood on the door frame from where the man busted it in.
