Busy Saturday: Giant Garage Sale, Child Safety Fair

Start planning now for weekend events.

It will be a busy Saturday morning for Goose Creek residents as two big events bring out shoppers looking for deals and parents and children looking for information on staying safe.

First, the Goose Creek Recreation Department is hosting its from 8 a.m. to noon at the Casey Community Center, 101 Old Moncks Corner Road. More than two-dozen vendors are expected. Booths can be reserved for $10. Pre-registration is required at the community center. For more information, call 843-572-1321.

Then, The Salvatore Muscarella Italian-American Association of Goose Creek presents this . Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler will be speaking at the event, and there will be demonstrations provided by local first responders and other organizations.
