Five Summer Programs From Goose Creek Recreation
Dog training, guitar practice, art classes and more.

Summer is officially here. And there's still weeks of vacation left to find some entertaining fun for students — and adults could use some fun, too. Here are five programs to look forward to this summer (click on the titles for more info).
Got a child or teen with a song in their heart. Get it out through this seven-week session providing lessons on traditional music structures that also emphasizes individual personality. Classes will be broken up based on age groups and begins June 27. The fee is $80 for residents.Â
The summer isn't just for day camps. A six-week evening art course will provide a variety of projects for children. The program costs $70 for residents (along with a $20 supply fee) and begins July 12.

Hey, baby needs something to do this summer, too. This four-week program offers parents and little ones, ages 9 months to 2-and-1/2 years, lessons on motor and social skills, along with emotional and creative development. The fee is $34 for residents. Classes begin July 24.
No sorting hat necessary. Every student in this class, for ages 7-12, will get a magic kit and learn the tricks of the trade. They'll perform a magic show for friends and family. The week-long camp costs $84 for residents and begins July 30.
