Cane Bay Athletes Sign With Colleges

Cane Bay High School will be sending off some of the pillars of its young athletic program, as five stars signed scholarships for National Signing Day on Wednesday.

Baseball player Quinton Cable will be heading to Spartanburg Methodist College, while teammate Zachary Wimmer makes plans with The Citadel.

Softball stars Erin Cook and Tierra Fischler will both attend University of South Carolina Salkehatchie.  

Track member Ja'Carl Safford signed with the University of South Carolina Beaufort, which also signed three Stratford High students.
