Cane Bay, Hanahan Ready for District Championships

Cane Bay will play host to the AAA District 7 championship game Wednesday after a 6-5 win over Berkeley on Saturday. Berkeley faces Socastee Monday night for another shot at the championship game.   

With a 10-2 win over Waccamaw, Hanahan will also play at home in the AA District 6 championship game Wednesday. They'll meet the winner of Monday's game between Waccamaw and Barnwell.

After losing 6-5 to Ashley Ridge on Saturday, Goose Creek will play North Augusta on Monday night for final shot at a spot in the AAAA District 8 championship game.

The Goose Creek girls prevented an early exit from the AAAA District 8 tournament with a 14-1 win over South Aiken. They'll head to South Florence Monday night for a shot at a championship game against Summerville. The game with South Florence is a rematch, after Goose Creek's first round loss last week, 5-1.

Stratford also faces an elimination match-up, against Spring Valley in AAAA District 5. The winner will face White Knoll in the championship Wednesday.
