Chris Brown a "Steal" For Notre Dame
Needs on the field make Brown an important player in 2012.

Hanahan Hawks star on Wednesday and Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly couldn't be more excited.
I think if we were talking from an NFL standpoint, and I was a general manager after draft day, we would consider this young man the steal of the draft … He’s got great explosiveness, good size at 6-2, he’s a guy that can take the quick, short pass and turn it into a touchdown.

Rivals.com's Tim Prister sees room for improvement, but also real promise in Brown's potential. "This may be the real diamond in the rough in the Class of 2012," he said.
And ESPN's Matt Fortuna calls Brown a "dark horse contributor."
Chris Brown and Nicky Baratti are both three-star prospects, but Kelly thinks they are both steals. Neither has a physique that will help him stand out on the field, but Brown is a versatile threat with the ball in his hands, short or deep.
