City Announces Fabulous Fourth in the Creek
Annual Goose Creek event includes music, fireworks and more.

Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Goose Creek at their annual Fabulous Fourth in the Creek festival. The festival kicks off on Wednesday, July 4 at 6 p.m. on the grounds of the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center and concludes at dark with a grand finale fireworks display. Last year's festival drew a crowd of about 3,000 for family entertainment, fun and fireworks. This year’s event marks the 23rd year for the popular family festival.
Due to very limited parking, festivalgoers are encouraged to arrive early and carpool. There will not be a shuttle bus this year.

The festival will be highlighted by performances by the band “Right To Party”, a seven piece group that features musical selections spanning today’s Top 40 to Motown, Beach and all points in between.
In additional to a variety of food vendors there will be children’s activities including a jump castle and giant slide, patriotic tattoo parlor featuring temporary tattoos and glow in the dark necklaces. Souvenir festival t-shirts will be available for sale.
The highlight of the festival will be the grand finale fireworks display scheduled to begin around 9:30 pm. Admission to the festival is free. No coolers, alcohol, pets or outside fireworks including sparklers please. Due to limited parking, no tailgating is permitted.
