City Of Goose Creek: Goose Creek Artist Featured At Community Center

Goose Creek Recreation's Artist of the Month is Larry Alexis, whose work is on display throughout August at the Community Center. Larry is an award-winning artist & poet who came to Goose Creek via the U.S. Navy. Although he's always been creative, Larry had not taken an art class since high school, when his wife signed him up for a senior's art class at Goose Creek Recreation in 2018. He's been creating ever since, and is a member of the Goose Creek Artist Guild.

The public is invited to check out his work on display any time the Community Center is open at the Recreation Complex.
