City Wants Gardeners to Help at Municipal Pond
Planting beds at municipal center and Felkel Field need some color.

Calling all green thumbs: The municipal pond is in need of a shock of color.
The City of Goose Creek recently completed a hiker/biker trail around the pond behind the municipal center. Now, officials are looking for a little color.
The Recreation Department invites all local garden clubs and experienced gardeners to participate in the beautification of Goose Creek.

The Recreation Department will prepare planting beds at the Felkel Field sports complex and the area around the lake behind the municipal center to allow interested gardeners to design, plant and maintain the flower beds. Â

The nearly $262,000 bike path extension was completed earlier this summer, winding the existing Hwy. 52 trail past the municipal center, providing access to the Goose Creek Community Center and the pond.
