The National Weather Service is predicting a cold front will move into the Charleston area this evening, ushering in some cooler temperatures as the Lowcountry gets a little taste of fall for the weekend and into next week.
According to the latest forecast, temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the 50s along the coast by daybreak Saturday. The temps will reach into the 70s for the day, but "plummet after sunset each evening," with the coldest temperatures expected Saturday night, with a low of 45.
