Community Pep Rally for Gators Thursday

Plus, the game will be televised and charter bus details.

Lots to report on today as we prepare for Saturday's state championship game against Greenwood. The Gators kick off at noon at Clemson's Memorial Stadium.

1. Goose Creek High School is putting on a community-wide pep rally at 6 p.m. Thursday night in the school's gymnasium.

2. The school is also chartering a bus for the trip to Clemson. The charge is $25 paid in cash at the school's office. There are 57 seats. As of Wednesday morning, 19 have signed up.

The bus will leave at 6 a.m. Saturday morning. A minor has to be accompanied by an adult.

3. The game will be televised for those who can't make the trip. The AAAA Division 2 championship is scheduled on WMMP MyTV Charleston. Check your TV listings to find where the channel is located on your dial.

4. And we'll be hosting. You'll get a chance to follow along with us and post your own comments.

5. As a reminder, tickets for Saturday's game are for $10. They'll also be available at the gate for the same price. Gates open at 11 a.m. Free parking, but no food, drinks or coolers are allowed into the stadium. Also, no hand-held signs.
