Coroner: Missing Teen Found Shot to Death

Update: Second body found 10 miles from car; identity not verified.

The body found Tuesday in the case of two missing women has been identified as 18-year-old Dana Marie Woods.

Woods and June Guerry, 22, had last been seen late Sunday night in Woods' 2000 White Chevrolet Metro in Moncks Corner.

Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said the cause of death was gunshot wounds, but he would not specifiy the number of bullets or where on the body she was shot, due to the ongoing investigation.

Late Wednesday, authorites reported finding a second body in the Alvin area, 10 miles from where the car was found. The second body had not been identified Wednesday night.

Family say they last saw the girls at 11:20 p.m. Sunday night. Woods called her mother just before midnight. That was the last anyone heard from the young women.
