A North Charleston man is dead following an early-morning shooting on Jean Well Drive. Police responded to the home at 3 a.m., according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury.
D'Andrae White, 27, was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m.
Salisbury said an autopsy will be conducted and more information should be available later Saturday.

The shooting is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner's Office and the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.
