Delinquent Tax Sale Begins Monday

Berkeley County will begin the tax sale auction Monday morning, beginning at 10 a.m. Monday in the Assembly Room at the Berkeley County Administration Building, 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner.

Owners have a year from the auction to resolve the debt and avoid the tax sale. Some business owners and taxpayers delay tax bills as a budgting decision.

While propertes may have been listed for sale in public advertisements, owners had until Friday to resolve payment. Among properties on the delinquent taxes list:

• The AME Development Group owes more than $35,000 in taxes for lots and undeveloped land of Cypress Gardens road.
• B Sea II owes $4,488.40 for a lot on Clements Ferry Road.
• Barclay Circle LLC owes more than $4,600 for most of its lots off Montague Plantation in Goose Creek.
• Century Development owes $7,469 for a waterfront lot at Tanner Plantation.
• Eagle Properties LLC owes more than $15,000 for a 12 acre trailer park off Loftis Road in Hanahan.
• Hana Investments owes more than $6,600 for units off Murray Drive.
• JBC Development Summerville owes more than $5,800 for three lots off of Myers Road.
• LJT Realty owes $18,761 for 9 acres at Bellwright Road.
• Long Rentals LLC owes $15,500 for several properties, including some in Spring Hall Village in Crowfield Plantation.
• Tanner 12 LLC owes more than $18,000 for commercial units on Tanner Ford Boulevard.
• 114 Farm Road LLC owes $4,637.71 for the Goose Creek property.
