Deputies Investigating Armed Robbery at Cricket
Second armed robbery on St. James Avenue in two weeks.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery Monday at on St. James Avenue.
The store clerk told police that she was cleaning the windows at the front of the building near closing time when a man dressed in black with a hoodie on his head approached the door and asked to make a payment.
As the clerk was stepping behind the counter, the suspect allegedly pulled out a black handgun and demanded money.

The man told the woman to lay down and count to 20 and he fled the scene. The unknown suspect allegedly made off with $1,064.
