UPDATE: Deputies Investigating Shady Lady Shooting

Suspects unknown, victim identified as Goose Creek man.

Update: According to the initial report from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to 1030 Red Bank Road at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday regarding shots fired.

A witness at the scene told officers that the victim, 30-year-old Antonio Jamar Miller of Goose Creek, had been shot several times in the parking lot in front of the Shady Lady's Billiard Lounge. Deputies found several spent shell casings in the parking lot.

The unknown shooter allegedly fled the scene, heading towards North Rhett in a black Honda, according to a witness.

The victim had already left the scene by the time officers arrived. He was found at Trident Medical Center receiving treatment for his injuries. Medical personal told deputies that the victim had been shot several times in the lower torso and upper legs.

A semi-automatic pistol was also allegedly found in the car that transported the victim to the hospital. The driver told deputies it was not his weapon.

Original Report: The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Tuesday night shooting in front of the Shady Lady Billiards Lounge.

Sheriff's spokesman Dan Moon said deputies were called to the scene Tuesday night regarding shots fired. When they arrived, the victim had already left the scene.

He was reportedly transported to Trident Medical Center. The Post and Courier is reporting that the victim is in critical condition as of late Tuesday night.

Moon said several shell casings were found on the ground, but there is no word yet on suspects or a motive in the case.
