Dog Day Sunday at Water Park

Whirlin' Waters annual four-legged swim day Sept. 11.

Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark will be closing for the season on Sunday — and the last day is for the dogs.

For one day only, the Wannamaker attraction opens a few of its watering holes for dogs only. Larger dogs can be seen swimming around or chasing the water at the wave pool, while smaller dogs get to run around the bottom of the Otter Bay water slide.

The park will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Dog admission is $10 ($8 if you are a Charleston County resident). People get in free. Also, go ahead and have the registration form ready when you get there (we've attached it to the right).
