Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. You to be patient, strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself.
1John 4:16
God is Love.
As you wait for your signs and signals, it is so easy to be overcome by fear: fear of making a wrong decision; fear that someone you love may make a decision that could negatively affect their life and as a result yours; fear of inadequacy, that you are not up to the task before you; fear that love will never come. But fear is not a feeling that is from God. Fear is a feeling that comes straight from Satan, designed to keep you off balance so that you won’t have the desire or energy to be positive, caring, and giving to the people in your world. When you are worrying about anxiety-producing things that you can’t possibly control, you are exactly where Satan wants you to be. Your eyes are looking only at the black curtain of fear and despair, rather than on the true miracle of joy that God has for you right behind the curtain. God wants you not to worry about future events that may never happen. What’s going to happen is going to happen. The only thing that you can control is what you choose to do. In order to please God and get the best possible results in any situation, God says that you should sow or plant good seeds of positive actions in every aspect of your life. What then happens to your life or the life of someone you love, God will take care of. You can only do what you can do which is to sow seeds of wisdom and love to the best of your ability. So, the next time fear and anxiety about events in the future that may never actually happen leave you overwhelmed and frozen, take a lesson from the farmer’s page. Don’t dwell on the upcoming storm that may never come. Don’t spend time worrying about how long it’s going to take for your crop or heart’s desire to emerge. Instead, be strong, be patient, and wait for the Lord. Turn your mind’s eye and heart to the vibrant beating of what is surely just below the surface of the soil. God is very near. He has plans for you and the people you love.
