Sponsored by Local Edge, the show will be held rain or shine. Collectors from SC, NC, and GA will display collections including fossil remains from primitive whales, giant sharks, mastodons, mammoths, giant sloths, and sabre-toothed lions, all formerly found within what is now South Carolina. Some collectors will offer fossils and related items for sale.
Collectors will be glad to help individuals identify their own fossil finds. There will also be a children's fossil dig and door prizes including books and fossils will be given away each hour. Lunch will be available for purchase.
