Family of Seven Displaced in Aldene Avenue Fire

Red Cross assisting with emergency relief.

Seven people lost their home in the on Monday. Fire crews responded to the scene after 3 a.m. to fight the fire that would destroy the home.

On Tuesday, the American Red Cross provided one night's lodging, money to replace food and clothing lost in the fire and comfort kits with basic hygiene necessities and stuffed animals for the children.

The Red Cross also referred the family to partner agencies for further aid, according to the organization.
