FedEx is looking for a local delivery driver for a seasonal opening out of Hanahan. Applicants should be 21 or older and have a clean driving record. Blockbuster has been closing some area stores as gas station boxes become more popular, but the company is hiring at its Goose Creek site. The movie rental store has posted openings for store management, assistant management, shift leaders and customer service reps.

The latest opening at Honeywell is for an electric technician. The position requires advanced technical knowledge for problems "that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals." The company is looking for at least six years of experience.

Two new openings with Berkeley County to point out. A service technician will be responsible for maintaining the county's rights-of-way and drainage. The county is also looking for a maintenance technician to keep up with day-to-day trouble-shooting at county facilities.

The S.C. Department of Transportation is also looking for a right-of-way crew member. And the state's Department of Juvenile Justice needs a community specialist to serve as a liaison and caseworker in Berkeley County.
