The victim, 45-year-old Bryan Douglas Sims, of Greenville, told police that he was driving east on St. James Avenue when Moan's truck hit his car head-on.

A witness driving another vehicle told police that his car had nearly been hit by Moan's truck before he swerved out of the way. The man said he looked in his rear view mirror and saw that Moan had hit Sims' car.
Moan told officers that he didn't know what happened. He said he was driving and then, all of a sudden, "I was standing in my truck and it was upside down."
Moan was arrested after failing a roadside sobriety test.
He repeatedly told that he didn't understand why he was arrested, according to officers. He said he'd been drinking at a friend's house, but stopped drinking at 4 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, Moan had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.
