Final Crowfield Deed Restriction Vote on This Week's Agendas
City considers golf course limits, while county weighs zoning requests.

Goose Creek City Council is expected to give final consideration Tuesday to deed restrictions at the Crowfield Golf and Country Club. Limits to development at the city-owned course have been a divisive issue for the council.
The measure would prevent future city councils from dividing up the golf course and selling parcels if it proves unsuccessful. Supporters say its necessary to preserve the land, while opponents have said its unnecessary.
Councilman Franklin Moore has offered up a compromise that would allow the deed restrictions to be lifted through voter referendum.
