Fire Department Fights Bojangles Blaze
Chief: Appears early-morning accident caused fire.

The is closed today after a morning fire caused signifcant damage to the kitchen.
Goose Creek Fire Department recieved a call of a fire at nearly 5 a.m. Wednesday morning from a restaurant employee.

Fire Chief Steve Chapman said it appears that a heat lamp may have been turned on near something combustable.

Goose Creek had 16 firefighters at the scene, along with aid from surrounding departments.
The fire was put out within 20 minutes, but crews remained on scene for 90 minutes to clean-up.
There hasn't been a restaurant fire in the city since Pizza Hut a few years back, Chapman said.
