
Crews from the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department responded to a fire call at 4 a.m. Monday to find a home in flames on Aldene Avenue, according to several news reports, including Count on News 2.
When crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Eventually, the roof collapsed. Firefighters contained the fire after fighting for 40 minutes. They believe the fire started in a back bedroom, but so far a cause for the fire hasn't been determined.
