Fire Displaces Family of Four

A Goose Creek fire has displaced a family of four in Goose Creek.

Crews with the Goose Creek Fire Department responded to the kitchen fire at 401 Robin Drive on Tuesday afternoon.

American Red Cross volunteers assisted the family, including two children, providing temporary housing and funds to help replace the food and clothing lost in the fire as well as comfort kits for the family.

On Monday, the Red Cross assisted a Red Bank Road man who lost his home in a fire. The Lowcountry organization reports assisting victims in 108 fires in the month of November.
