Red Cross volunteers have assisted nearly 50 individuals, including 21 children. ABC News 4 also reports on a donation drive at Shield Faith Church in Hanahan.

"We have been waiting for God to open a window and instead he opened a door," said church member Kristina McDonald. "It really was kind of instantaneous. Before supper on Thursday we knew this is what we needed to do."

Authorities have confirmed that a meth lab was found in the remains of the building, but it hasn't been confirmed whether that was the cause of the blaze.

The Post and Courier has a dramatic aerial shot that shows the devastation from the fire, as well as additional donation opportunities.
