Five Arrests in Goose Creek Armed Robberies, Home Invasion

Sheriff's Office: Charges include armed robbery, assault and battery, burglary and strong armed robbery.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has arrested five people in connection to a string of armed robberies and one home invasion at the Sunrise Mobile Home Park on Red Bank Road. 

BCSO spokesman Dan Moon said the incidents occurred between Sept. 24 and Oct. 14. Arrests include:

Nicholas Berry, 19, of Goose Creek — charged with armed robbery, two counts of burglary, four counts of assault and battery and strong armed robbery with bonds set at $665,445.

James Robert Reid, 21, of Goose Creek, — charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and assault and battery with bonds set at $250,620.00.

Jahleel Jamal Simmons, 17, of Goose Creek, — charged with two counts of armed robbery, four counts of assault and battery and burglary. His total bonds were $640,000.00.

George R. Cannon, 18, of North Charleston, — charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary, three counts of assault and battery and strong armed robbery with bonds set at $425,000.

Reginald Layette Williams, 30, of Goose Creek, is charged with burglary and had bond set at $240,000.
