Five Car Break-Ins at Bridgecreek
Residents woke up last week with broken windows, valuables missing.

An unknown burglar broke into several cars last week in Bridgecreek.
A victim contacted police early Wednesday morning after finding that the right rear window of her Chevrolet had been smashed. A bag of nursing equipment that she had left in the seat had been stolen. The victim told police that her husband had last seen the vehicle undamaged around midnight.Â
Patrolling  the neighborhood, officers found a second victim with a window busted out. The woman told police that her purse had been stolen from the center compartment under the radio.

A third victim flagged down police after finding that her purse had been stolen from her Jeep Commander. The contents of the purse were later found dumped in her backyard.

Roughly an hour later, a fourth victim contacted police because someone had broken the window in her Ford Taurus and stole her purse, which contained a Bible she valued at $100.
It wasn't until he was mid-commute to Charleston that a fifth Bridgecreek victim discovered that his car had been burglarized. After allegedly leaving his car door unlocked, the unknown suspect took an iPod, Bluetooth, prescription sunglasses and a GPS unit.
