Flood Advisory For Portions of Goose Creek Area

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for portions of the Lowcountry, including area from the Naval Weapons Station toward McClellanville. The advisory will expire at 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

According to the NWS, threats including hydroplaning on wet roadways and potential road flooding. If you approach a road entirely underwater, find another route. Water can be much deeper than it appears, the NWS notes.
