Football Jamboree Friday at Goose Creek High

Local teams face-off in fundraiser.

Berkeley County Schools will be facing off in the sixth annual Berkeley County Jamboree this Friday. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Goose Creek High School, 1137 Red Bank Road.

Seven teams will compete in seven 15-minute long games, with each team getting two rounds. The jamboree benefits athletic departments for each of the schools.

"The Jamboree is a great way for the community to meet our teams prior to the start of our regular season," said Goose Creek High School Football Coach Chuck Reedy in a release.  "Attendees can get of glimpse of the team line-ups in action and get excited about the upcoming season while supporting high school football in Berkeley County."
