Four Young People Injured in Hit and Run
Car reportedly hit four juveniles walking on Paddock Way.

The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating a late-night hit-and-run incident where four young people were struck by a car while walking in the Sangaree area.
The four juveniles were walking east on Paddock Way near 11:30 p.m. when a car travelling west hit all of them and fled the scene.

The victims were transported to the Medical University of South Carolina, one was transported by helicopter.
WCSC Live 5 News has identified the victims as 10-year-old Sydney Hopkins, 13-year-old Evan Hopkins, 14-year-old Dotty Jackson, and 10-year-old Harleigh Eury.

Two of the victims and a witness described the vehicle as a silver Ford Taurus.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
