Free Beach, Bluegrass and BBQ Festival Saturday

Release, City of Goose Creek:

The City of Goose Creek will present its first ever this Saturday, May 12 from 3-8 p.m. behind City Hall located at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd. This free family-friendly festival is sponsored by Goose Creek Heating and Air.  There will be live music, a corn-hole tournament, food eating contest and kid’s play area.  

The YeeHaw Junction Bluegrass Band will perform from 3-5 p.m. and the Ocean Drive Party Band will perform from 5:30-7:30 pm.  The food eating competition will begin at 5 p.m. for adults 18 years and older.  Participants must pre-register on site.  The event will feature BBQ from Music Man’s BBQ and several other food vendors.
