Before we get to Friday's games, we've got to talk about the incredible game the Cane Bay Cobras had Thursday night against Colleton County. Heading into the game at 4-1, the Cobras were a sure win against the Cougars — a team that hasn't one a single game since 2009.
But the first half of the game was one Cobra misstep after another, with the Cougars dominating 21-0 before the half. Coming back, Colleton would go scoreless in the second half, while Cane Bay dominated one drive after another. Final score: 26-21, with the winning touchdown coming with less than 10 seconds left in the game.

No reason to expect anything but the best from Chuck Reedy and one of the nation's top football programs.
Instead, everyone's attention appears to be across I-26, where the Stratford Knights will be travelling as they go for 6-0 this season, taking on Summerville's Green Wave. It's the game of the week for several local sportscasters, but the Knights should be able to carry this undefeated season on to next week.
The Hanahan Hawks are home Friday night, hosting Orangeburg-Wilkinson as the 4-1 Hawks continue to show their strength in their new AAA stomping grounds.Â
