Friday Football: Goose Creek, Stratford Finish Season With Hometown Rivalry

The Goose Creek Gators will take on the Stratford Knights in the final game of the regular season.

The Gators are defending a 10-0 record in hopes of making it an undefeated season. After losing to Wando a few weeks ago, the Knights are at 9-1 and hoping to put Goose Creek on the same level heading into the post-season.

After struggling through a difficult second half this year, Cane Bay is looking for one more win against West Ashley in the final game of the season. At 5-5, a win to close out 2012 would give the Cobras a winning record for their first season in 4A.

In AAA, Hanhan begins post season play on Friday night, hosting Gilbert (4-6). The other game to watch: Myrtle Beach vs. Manning. The winner will be traveling to the Lowcountry next week if the Hawks win Friday.
