Friday Football: Goose Creek Gives Nation a Show on ESPNU, Now 8-0
Mixed results for our local teams as we get into the toughest competition of the season.

With a national audience watching on ESPNU, Goose Creek didn't disappoint. The Gators beat Cane Bay, 55-0. Goose Creek is at 8-0 as the team heads to Wando next week for one of the biggest challenges of the season.
It was a second tough loss for Cane Bay (5-3). Next week, the Cobras come home for a challenge from West Florence.

A perfect season was always going to be a tough road for Stratford. On Friday, the Knights had their first lost of the season, falling to Wando 42-7. Now 7-1, Stratford is back home for two games beginning next week with a visit from West Ashley.
Hanhan gave a good show for the local TV crowd on Thursday, hosting James Island for the final home game of the season on MyTV Charleston's Thursday Night Lights. The Hawks won the game 30-10.Â
