Championship hopes remain for all of our local teams this week. Goose Creek's first post-season game against Lancaster went as expected. The Gators easily won, 49-12. Next up, Goose Creek hosts Northwestern. Stratford beat Conway, 43-25, in the first found of the playoffs. Both teams were 8-3 going into the game. The Knights will now hit the road to take on Ashley Ridge. Hanahan beat Lake City, 42-18. Now 7-4, The Hawks will host Timberland in the next round of the AA playoffs. Cane Bay surprised Marlboro, winning 28-14, in the second round of AAA post-season play. The Cobras, 9-3, takes on A.C. Flora next week.
