Goose Creek finished off the regular season with another win, besting Beaufort High School, 31-19. The Gators finished the season 10-1, with the lone defeat coming from a 52-51 loss to University High School of Fort Lauderdale, Fla, early in the season.
Cane Bay won the first round of AAA tournament play with a win against Wilson, 42-16. The Cobras (8-3) head out of town next week for round two, visiting Marlboro County (8-3).
Wando beat Stratford, 22-7. The Knights finish the regular season at 8-3, losing only to Wando, Summerville and Goose Creek.

North Charleston lost in the first round of the AA state tournament against Lake City, 55-0. Hanahan (6-4), which had a bye this week, will host Lake City (6-5) next week. The Hawks are looking for seven wins in a row.
