Friday Football Results: Goose Creek Wins 41-7
The playoff road ends for Stratford, Hanahan and Cane Bay.

Goose Creek brought their winning season to an even dozen on Friday night, beating Northwestern 41-7. The Gators (12-1) now look for lucky number 13. Left standing in the way between Goose Creek and the state AAAA championship:
- Goose Creek hosts North Augusta Nov. 25 in the final week before the state championship. It's also the last chance you'll have to see the Gators at home this season.
- If successful, Goose Creek will take on the winner between Greenwood and Ashley Ridge at the championship game at Clemson's Memorial Stadium on Dec. 3.

Stratford held on for most of the game against Ashley Ridge, but the final 24-21 score brings the Knights strong season to an end. It ends with a 9-4 record.

After a string of seven wins, Hanahan's season came to an end Friday night with a 28-21 loss to Timberland. Hanahan lost to Timberland earlier in the season, a game that also led to the injury of star wide reciever Chris Brown. He was forced to sit out for several weeks. Hanahan finished the season 7-5. It was Hanahan's last season of AA play — they'll be moving to AAA in the fall.
After Cane Bay succeded last week with a surprise win over Marlboro, their AAA playoff action ended this week. A.C. Flora beat the Cobras, 44-28. Finishing the season with a 9-4 record, Cane Bay is also looking to a move up next year, joining Goose Creek and Stratford in AAAA.
