Karolczyk was a business major at Clemson. Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley says that it will take six to eight weeks for toxicology results, but there are signs that alcohol was a factor in Karolczyk's death.

Assistant Pickens County Sheriff Tim Morgan said no charges have been made at this point but depending on the toxicology results and autopsy charges are likely.

"He was underage," Morgan said. "We're currently conducting interviews to find out where he got it and who got it for him or who sold it to him."

Morgan said charges could be made once the autopsy is complete, and the charges could become more severe once officials have toxicology results.
