Goose Creek's baseball, football and basketball headlines.

A few Goose Creek Gator headlines hit our desktop this week.

"The mood just wasn’t the same," Smith admitted. "It wasn't quite exciting as the first one. But it felt pretty good."

2. Clemson is getting ready to this summer, but he won't be lonely up there for long. Caleb Kinlaw is reportedly visiting the school this weekend. He told S.C. Prep Nation earlier this week that he has had interest from several schools.
"I like the atmospheres of Clemson and Virginia Tech slightly more than USC," said Kinlaw. "Along with the academics, conference prestige, and the amount of players they send to the pros."
3. Finally, Rob Gantt with the Goose Creek Gazette reports that the Gators are getting close to selecting the school's next basketball coach. Former coach to take an assistant coach position at Charleston Southern University.
School principal Jimmy Huskey said that the school has already interviewed eight candidates and has narrowed the search to three potential coaches.
"We've had interviews with some high quality coaches," Huskey said. "We're on the second round of interviews and we're down to three coaches."
