Goose Creek Fender Mender on This Week's Agendas

Goose Creek's recent downtown upgrade has netted a new business off Central Avenue. Planned for nearby Seewee Drive, Fender Mender will get a hearing from the Architectural Review Board this week.

The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers, 519 N. Goose Creek Boulevard. The board will review Fender Mender site plans, landscaping, materials, colors and more, according to a city agenda.

The board will also consider site plans for Low Country Pediatrics, as well as minor requests that include signage for Discount Beer and Tobacco, Plantation North Shopping Center, Rivers Funeral Home, Dental Smart and D&R Gunsmithing. See the full agenda.

Berkeley County Council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in the Supervisor's Conference Room, 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner. The council meeting will follow a special meeting of the Public Works and Purchasing Committee. There will be an executive session, followed by a public discussion of a health care proposal.
