Goose Creek High Teacher Among "Forty Under 40"
Nick Geary makes Business Journal's list of young professionals.
The Charleston Regional Business Journal recently announced its 'Forty Under 40,' recognizing some of the Lowcountry's rising class of talented professionals, and Goose Creek High School's Nick Geary is among the honorees.
A creative writing teacher at the Berkeley Center for the Arts, Geary is also being recognized for his work with the district's teacher forum and as program director of the Homework Club, a free after-school program for a local low-income community.
The Business Journal will be featuring all of the 'Forty under 40' winners in an upcoming issue and will be honoring them at a special event in Mount Pleasant on April 12.
