Goose Creek Hosts Holiday Expo Nov. 17
Arts, crafts, food, kids area and more at special event.

Release, Goose Creek Recreation:
The City of Goose Creek Recreation Department will host its first HOLIDAY EXPO on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Goose Creek Community Center. This fun family event will run from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Get a jump start on your holiday shopping and bring the kids along because there are plenty of activities for the entire family.
More than 60 vendors and exhibitors will be at the Expo. Along with the holiday items from local crafters, there will be a variety of health professionals and exhibitors.Â

Holiday crafts, jewelry, ornaments, cookies, candies and candles will be part of the wide variety of vendors offering their wares. Some of the free services offered include chair massages, kid’s haircuts and blood pressure checks. Specialty services will include facials and haircuts.
A special kids area will have a jump castle, kids craft area and climbing wall. There is a small fee for the children’s activities. Representatives will be on hand to make free child safety IDs for parents.

There will also be book signings by local authors. Mayor Michael Heitzler will be signing his books on historical Goose Creek, and Beth Frandsen, author of "Seasons of Change" will also be on hand to sign her books.
