Goose Creek Man Faces Cocaine Trafficking Charges
Also charged with possession of a stolen firearm and drug distribution in proximity of a school.

A Goose Creek man is facing cocaine trafficking charges after an arrest Wednesday.
Floyd Woods, 39, of 273 Bayboro Circle, has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and distributing a controlled substance in proximity of a school.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, deputies with the Drug Enforcement Unit discovered approximately 69 gg of cocaine valued at $7,000 in the residence according to Captain Mike Williams.

Held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center, Woods is awaiting a bond hearing.
A second man fled the scene when law enforcement arrived. A brief pursuit ended when the unidentified man escpaed into the woods near the Long Leaf subdivision.
