Goose Creek Man Gets Life in Prison
Still faces charges in connection with Berkeley County death.
After a five-day trail, a jury convicted Donsurvi Chisolm of murder and sentenced him on Monday to life in prison with no possibility for parole.
Chisolm was charged with shooting and killing Craig M. Canady Jr. in Dorchester County in 2007. While on bail for that crime and awaiting trial, Chisolm allegedly killed his nephew and wounded his brother last April.
Chisolm was apprehended by U.S. Marshals two weeks later at a bus stop in Los Angeles.
