Goose Creek Patch Turns 1!

We really can't believe that it has been a year since we first launched Goose Creek Patch. It's been exciting to learn about Goose Creek and, reader by reader, grow our audience.

There's still a lot of growing to do. New voices that we want to include in our blogs. More stories from our communities. Better access to the public information open to every resident, if they know where to look. 

Thanks to all of you, our readers, for sharing your stories, commenting on issues in the community, posting your events on our calendar and serving as our best ambassadors for Patch and what we do. This page can't survive without you.

We can't wait for year two. We have neighborhoods taking on zoning, blight and road conditions. Goose Creek will be building a new fire station. Hanahan has ambitious plans for an amphitheater and public park. Oh, and we've got elections coming up in November.
