Goose Creek Patrol Car in Charleston Accident
Other driver gets summons for failing to yield.

A Goose Creek patrol car was involved in an accident Wednesday night on Ashley Phosphate Road, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The GCPD officer was reportedly traveling down Ashley Phosphate at 9:40 p.m. crossing through the Stall Road intersection. A 2012 Kia driven by a 57-year-old man allegedly pulled in front of the officer in an attempt to turn.
The patrol car rear-ended the Kia. The driver of the Kia and a passenger, 56, were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The Kia driver received a summons for failure to yield the right of way, according to the Highway Patrol.
