
The restaurant in downtown Goose Creek was robbed early Wednesday.
Police were called to the Goose Creek Center on St. James Avenue at 5 a.m. March 21 after a burglary alarm had been activated.
Officers arrived to find the front door shattered at Philly Cheesesteak. They found a large rock on the floor in the dining area.Â

Some one had apparently tried to pry the cash register open and receipts were found scattered on the floor in the main office, hallway and pantry.
Both the safe and a metal cash box were stolen. Police have not released the amount taken.
